2022: BASS Medical Group in the Community

Community is everything, especially when we’re going through a post-pandemic (hopefully) society trying to get back in the groove of socializing safely in local community events. We’ve gone through a few rough years, thanks to COVID-19, and we’re beyond thrilled that things are starting to shift forward to a safe environment for community socializing.

At BASS Medical Group, we’re always looking for community events and causes to support, and so far in the first half of 2022 we’ve been privileged to be a part of a handful of local community events such as:

1. Cancer Support Hope Walk

The Cancer Support Community is an organization located in the San Francisco Bay Area that provides a community dedicated to providing help, information, and hope throughout the entire cancer journey so those facing cancer never feel alone.  No matter what kind of cancer, or where you are in your cancer journey.

Cancer Support Community San Francisco Bay Area is the largest organization of its kind in Northern California.  They are an affiliate of the international Cancer Support Community organization, but are an independent nonprofit corporation, so all of the funds they raise are used to underwrite programs and services in local communities.

All of their programs and services are evidence-based to positively impact cancer treatment outcomes and/or immune system functioning, and they are all delivered by professionals who are licensed or certified in their area of expertise.

They never turn anyone away, and all of their services are always provided free of charge in order to be readily accessible to people facing cancer in their time of need.  Donations make this possible.  And you can trust that you are making a difference.

During the pandemic, Cancer Support Community adapted all programs and services to the virtual space. Not only have current members continued their care and support, but they are no longer limited by geographical location. Now anyone who needs resources can access unlimited care and support, no matter where they live.

2. Walnut Creek On Ice

Walnut Creek On Ice is a local Ice Rink located in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek brought to the community by the City of Walnut Creek, the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce, and Down Town Walnut Creek collectively. In addition to all of the local business sponsors that help support this project every year.

A local family fun event that our community looks forward to being a part of!

3. Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival

The Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival enjoyed their 39th Annual event in 2022. Brining the local community together in Heather Farms community park in Walnut Creek to enjoy a day filled with live music, local specialty vendors, drinks, food and fun for the whole family!

4. Brentwood Senior Health Fair

We’ve had such a great time connecting with our local community and being a part of these local events and 2023 we undoubtedly bring more of the same. We look forward to being a part of more events in the second half of 2022 and hopefully we can meet you there!
