Ali Khavari

Dr. Ali Khavari is a foot and ankle specialist devoted to treating ailments of the lower extremity. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Davis where he majored in biological sciences with an emphasis in neurobiology, physiology and behavior and minored in economics. He went on to receive his doctorate at the California School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency in Foot & Ankle Surgery and Rearfoot Reconstruction at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, CA where he served as chief resident.

He has received extensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, ranging from diabetic limb salvage to sports medicine, trauma, arthroscopy, joint replacement, pediatrics and reconstructive surgery.  He is well trained in biomechanics and has experience in treating athletes from junior to professional level of play.

Born in Berkeley, raised in Concord and having attended school in Walnut Creek, Dr. Khavari has a special bond with the East Bay Area. It has always been his goal to treat the community that helped raise him.

During his free time, he enjoys quality time with family, hiking, weightlifting, reading and cooking dishes from around the world. He is a big sports enthusiast and enjoys both watching and participating in a variety of team sports.
