Christina Pingol (she/her) is a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Infectious Disease (ID). Christina was born and raised in Sonoma County, CA and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Development at the University of California, Davis. She then obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from San Francisco State University (SFSU), focusing in Community and Public Health. Christina worked as a Public Health Nurse for the Acute Communicable Disease Unit at Alameda County Public Health Department then continued on at SFSU to obtain her Post-Masters’ Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate. She then joined Diablo Infectious Disease Consultative Medical Group where she developed her passion for ID. Before returning to ID with BASS, Christina served as a geriatric primary care provider and Lead Clinician of Infection Control and Prevention with PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). She is excited to come back to ID, where she can harness, utilize, and focus her passion for navigating the complex nature that the specialty demands of its practitioners.
