Jaisri Maharaj

Dr. Jaisri Maharaj is a board-certified endocrinologist who specializes in all aspects of general endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville. Her endocrinology fellowship training was at the University of Utah where she also successfully graduated with a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation in tandem. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, the American Medical Association and has presented at various national and international meetups and conferences. 

Dr. Maharaj has been in practice for several years in West Virginia before relocating to California. Her practice includes managing various conditions of the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary gland, adrenal gland, disorders of bone and calcium, osteoporosis, diabetes, polycystic ovaries, and hypogonadism. She is committed to providing the highest standard of care while creating a personalized approach for each unique individual. 

In addition to her passion for endocrinology, Dr. Maharaj has been formally learning Indian classical music since childhood and continues to study the intricacies of this art form. She enjoys being a mother and spending quality family time.
