Jennifer W. Cheng

Dr. Cheng was born and raised in the East Bay Area. She is a board certified Infectious Disease doctor. Dr. Cheng received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics at UCLA. She went to medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and stayed in Philadelphia afterward to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Pennsylvania Hospital. She then moved to Chicago where she completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Rush University Medical Center. Post fellowship, Dr. Cheng worked in internal medicine for one year at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital before happily moving back home to the Bay Area in November 2016 to join the Infectious Disease Doctors Medical Group, which has been a part of BASS Medical Group since 2015.
