Jonathan Nigro

Dr. Jonathan D. Nigro is board qualified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgery joining Tri-Valley Orthopedic Specialists after completing his surgical residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Nigro has a special interest in Foot and Ankle Reconstruction, sports medicine, arthroscopy, cartilage repair techniques, foot and ankle trauma, fracture care, and ankle joint replacement surgery. Dr. Nigro has been recognized by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons for his research at their annual scientific conferences and has contributed as an author in McGlamry’s Foot and Ankle Surgery textbook. Dr. Nigro maintains an active lifestyle which has stemmed from playing sports at a young age that transitioned to playing quarterback in college. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, socializing with friends, and cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams. He understands the importance of being active and how to treat his patients to achieve their goals utilizing new techniques and technologies as they emerge.
