Julianne Chaves

Julianne Chaves is a Bay Area native who received her undergraduate degree in biology from Dominican University of California. She then attended Oregon Health and Science University for Physician Assistant Studies.

Julianne has previous experience working in Urgent Care and Primary Care settings. Her interest in Neurology is personal. She grew up accompanying her brother to his neurology visits. He had a great neurology PA who was very personable and thorough, and Julianne looked to her as an inspiration. It has always been her dream to work in neurology.

She has previously practiced in Urgent Care and Telehealth, and she strongly believes in patient-focused healthcare. She is passionate about empowering patients to navigate complex conditions through education, compassionate care, and establishing environments where patients feel valued and heard. Julianne loves having continuity of care with her patients and building meaningful relationships with them. That is something she finds is possible in neurology.

In her free time Julianne enjoys yoga, tennis, spending time with family, and baking sourdough and cookies.
