Katherine Chang

Katherine Chang is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College/ Samuel Merritt University in Nursing. She has 15 years of acute care experience at John Muir Medical Center Concord as a registered nurse working with cardiovascular and thoracic cancer patients. She also worked in medical missions in Ecuador, Peru, and Guatemala for several years and it was through these experiences that she decided to pursue becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco, with a minor in Global Health. It was during her time at UCSF that her interest in women’s health grew. During her time there, she worked at UCSF Young Women’s Clinic and UCSF Women’s Health Center and found she had a passion for working with women of all ages who were navigating preventative care, life-changing milestones, as well as managing acute and chronic illnesses. She looks forward to bringing her passion and experience to this practice and hopes to make a positive impact on her patients.

In her spare time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and french bulldog Gunther. She also enjoys hiking, cooking, boxing, and exploring new coffee shops.
