About

Kenneth C. Hsiao M.D., has been practicing in Contra Costa County since 2007. Prior to joining the John Muir Medical Staff, he served as an Assistant Professor of Urology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. While there, he specialized in treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic floor reconstruction, and sexual dysfunction. He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees at Brown University, and completed his urology residency at Emory University. He completed his fellowship training in voiding dysfunction and pelvic floor reconstruction at Virginia Mason Medical Center, Seattle, Washington. He also served as a visiting scholar in the University of Washington’s Department of Urology.

Dr. Hsiao’s is an accomplished laparoscopic and robotic surgeon with expertise in urologic oncology, kidney stone disease, general urology and no-scalpel vasectomy. His clinical interests include minimally invasive treatment of urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, pelvic floor reconstruction, sexual dysfunction, and urological prosthesis surgery. In his free time Dr. Hsiao enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, and he is also an avid golfer and musician.
