Michael Heisman

Dr. Michael Heisman has been a local Podiatrist in San Jose for over 30 years.  He has long term experience with providing foot and ankle care in sports related injuries, treatment of diabetic and circulation problems that affect the feet and ankle, lower extremity wound care and general chronic foot issues.  He has been a staff Podiatrist at San Jose Valley Medical Center and at San Jose State University's Health Center. 

Dr. Heisman has been active in running and weight training since college.  He recently won the International Powerlifting League world powerlifting championship for his age and weight class.  Staying healthy with proper nutrition and exercise has always been important to him. Helping patients to be more comfortable with their foot and ankle ailments has been a very rewarding aspect of his medical specialty.
