Preethi Sridhar

Dr. Preethi Sridhar was born and raised in Bangalore, India. She worked for an Endocrinology practice in rural and urban Bangalore for 2years before moving to the United States. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago. She has been practicing Endocrinology in Mountain View, California since 2013.

Dr. Sridhar is board certified in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She practices all aspects of Endocrinology including diabetes, thyroid disorders (including management of thyroid cancers), pituitary disorders, parathyroid/ calcium disorders, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, cardiovascular risk reduction and weight management. She is skilled in performing in-office thyroid / neck ultrasounds and fine needle aspiration biopsies. She has extensive experience in the management of Endocrine disorders in pregnancy - including management of thyroid disorders, type 1/ type 2diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome and pre-diabetes before, during and after pregnancy. She is adept at utilizing continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps and proven medications to help her patients manage type 1/ type 2 diabetes. She successfully incorporates evidence based medicine, technology and lifestyle management to provide safe, effective and personalized care to all her patients. She is committed to excellence in Endocrinology care.

Dr. Sridhar is a professional Indian classical dancer and continues to teach dance. She enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, hiking and cooking. She speaks fluent Tamil, Kannada and Hindi, in addition to English. She is accepting new patients.
